The lift system is opening this year from the 20th June - 28th September and we will be running our holidays between these dates. The full lift system is open and you will be able to access all the tracks throughout the season (subject to maintenance), though some parts of the upper trails may be covered in snow at the beginning of summer.

Here are our trails. We have over 30 trails forming a network of 40 km with a max vertical drop of 900 metres. There is something for eveybody here from beginner to world cup racer, as well as drops, boxes, jumps and North Shore for all the freeriders. Enjoy.

BIKING TRAIL MAP 2008

1. 1000meters leden.

2. Rydbergs väg.
An easy to intermediate trail from Hummeln down towards the World Cup trail.
3. Ripbranten.
A double black (experts’) trail from Hummeln to the unloading station of the World Cup lift. This is the first section of the downhill course from World MTB Championships 1999. Very steep, narrow and partly rocky. Hang on!
4. Västra Stjärnvägen.
An advanced trail from Snorkeln or the World Cup trail with westbound off-shoot to Solstigen. Some sections are rocky and often wet. At the intersection with Solstigen you continue either eastbound to Fjällgården or westwards towards Årevägen.

An easy trail from the unloading station of the World Cup lift. Long, winding trail past Fjällgården and down to Stjärntorget. A long, fun and easy trail for beginners.
8. Downhillbanan.
A double black (expert) trail starting from Serpentinen virtually straight down through the forest to Stjärntorget. Steep and technical. Look out for the drop halfway down.
9. Kindergarten.
A double black (expert) trail starting from the Downhill Course. ‘North Shore’ trail down through the World Cup forest to Stjärntorget. Saddle up and get involved with the skinnies, teeter-totters and drops.
10. Kälkspåret.
An intermediate trail from Fjällgården past Hyddan en route to Åre Square. Connections from Serpentinen, Flinbanan or Solstigen. The trail is winding with banked curves and flowing jumps. Very popular.
11. Hyddans väg.
An intermediate trail with connections from Kälkspåret, past Hyddan and onwards to Stjärntorget.
12. Kanonröret.
An advanced trail with connection from Hyddans väg towards Stjärntorget. New for this year, it's been stuffed with wall rides, drops and a step up. A great little trail.
13. Flinbanan.
An intermediate trail, undulating and winding with connection to Kälkspåret. Steep berms and jumps to keep you on your toes. Has quickly become our most popular trail

14. Hällrajd.
A double black (expert) trail from the top station of the cable car connecting with the trail Hjulingen. A rough old track filled with arm pumping rock gardens and ruts. Large sections run on flat rock and may prove difficult in wet conditions. Great fun in the dry, a classic trail for picking up snake bite punctures.
15. Hjulingen.
An advanced trail with connection from Hällrajd. Hjulingen is a billowing path in the bare mountain region which connects to the World Cup trail. Fast and open, you'll soon be drifting around the corners having the time of your life.
16. Olympia vägen.
An easy trail from Hummeln westwards towards the World Cup trail.
17. World Cupleden.
An easy and long transport road, stretching all the way from the connecting point of Hjulingen to Flinbanan. Several trails intersect to and from the World Cup trail.

An easy trail leading from the unloading station of the World Cup lift to the Olympia area.
19. Åre vägen.
An easy trail with connection from Bräckevägen back to Stjärntorget.
20. Bräckebäcks leden.
An advanced trail intersecting with Rödkullevägen. A long and winding path down through the forest parallel to the scenic brook Bräckebäcken. This trail has the best flow in Åre, with fast swooping turns, bridges and chutes to keep you entertained. A favourite of the local riders, come and see why.
21. Snorkeln.
An intermediate trail from Rydbergs väg past the World Cup trail to Bräckevägen. Perfect connection to Östra Stjärnvägen.
22. Rydbergs dropp.
A double black (expert) trail from Hummeln and the start of the Downhill course during the UCI World MTB Championships 1999. Very steep and difficult with a drop down to Rydbergs väg. It's nice, I like.
23. Rödkullevägen.
An intermediate trail from the Olympia plateau towards Bräckebäcksleden.
24. Easy Rider
New intermediate trail from the top of the cable car al the way down to Hummeln. The trail is still under construction and new sections will open during the summer.

24. Arena Fjällängen.
The arena of Åre Bike Park. Several events will be staged here during summer, for example Åre Mayhem. Here you’ll find the 4X course and the FOX Slope-style line with Hyddan. 4 drops of varying heights, fun boxes and jumps, it's the perfect spectator spot for watching Åre locals mash themselves up. Good connections from the Downhill Course, Kälkspåret and Serpentinen.
